HC Salavat Yulaev decided match with Amur in two minutes

Khabarovsk "Amur" came to Ufa to play with HC "Salavat Yulaev", having only once lost in the last five games. Moreover, Sochi, Jokerit, Ak Bars, and Traktor teams were defeated. The Ufa ice squad demonstrated an unstable game. The shutout victory over Sochi was followed by two defeats against Vityaz (4: 3) and Lokomotiv (0: 5).

The first period was goalless. Salavat Yulaev failed to capitalize on the power play.

By the end of the second period, Salavat Yulaev, as they say, made a breakthrough. First, Ilya Baranov, assisted by Korobov and Pimenov, sent the puck behind the guests' goalkeeper's back. Then, in two minutes, the Ufa team scored 4: 0 with point-blank shots by Temu Khartikainen, Danil Bashkirov, and Vyacheslav Solodukhin. The Tigers' coach Sergey Svetlov was furious on the bench. However, Khabarovsk residents achieved power play and capitalized on it in nine seconds.

After the second break, the teams stopped the scoring extravaganza. Both teams did not show a good power-play percentage.

It was a necessary victory for the hosts and, most likely, the expected recess of the Khabarovsk team. The final score of the match was 4: 1.

Next, Tomi Lamsa's players will have an away game with Metallurg on October 30.
