"Shulgan-Tash" museum complex worth 299 million rubles will be built in Bashkiria

It is planned to build a historical and cultural complex "Shulgan-Tash" in Burzyan region of Bashkortostan. 299 million rubles might be allocated from the republican budget for these purposes. The contractor will be selected based on the results of the tender on the "RTS-Tender" electronic platform on August 27. The competition is held by the State Property Committee "Capital Construction Administration of the Republic of Bashkortostan".

According to the project, the museum building will have three stories with the total area of more than four thousand square meters. The capacity is 690 people per day. The entrance to the museum will be decorated with flower beds and an artificial pond with illumination and a sculptural composition - the "Shulgan-Tash" logo. Near the museum, an outdoor stage with stands for 300 spectators will be located. The adjoining territory will have lawns, flower beds, benches for visitors.

The construction will take a little more than two years.

The museum-preserve is designed to preserve and popularize the existing historical-archeological and landscape-speleological museum-reserve "Shulgan-Tash". Five different expositions will be presented in the museum, the main exhibit - a small copy of the Shulgan-Tash cave. The building will also house a repository of archaeological and botanical collections and a children's science center with a rock painting room.
