Europe has lifted restrictions for archers from Republic of Bashkortostan
World Archery Europe (WAE) has announced it will lift sanctions against the Russian team, effective January 1, 2027. The WAE Executive Committee's decision was reported by Zorigto Mankhanov, president of the Russian Archery Federation.
"Following discussions and in the best interests of the athletes, the Executive Committee of World Archery Europe has decided to lift restrictions on athletes, teams, and officials from the Russian Archery Federation regarding participation in competitions sanctioned by World Archery Europe, effective January 1, 2027," stated Mankhanov.
