The head coach of Salavat Yulaev, Viktor Kozlov, named the reason for the Ufa team's defeat by Sochi (3:6). According to him, a lack of discipline let down the Ufa team.
"There were too many penalties. Discipline let us down; that is why the result is as it is. Fatigue may also be setting in— this is our third away game. But still, we cannot take so many penalties," said Viktor Kozlov.
The mentor of the "Yulaevites" also evaluated the performance of backup goalkeeper Nikita Bogdanov.
"Today Bogdanov played worthily. He made several key saves, showing he kept the team in the game. Therefore, it is more of a coincidence that Salavat looks weaker with backup goalkeepers," the head coach concluded.
