"Ufa" and "Volga" drew in 11th round of First League
Today, September 13, football club "Ufa" hosted Ulyanovsk's "Volga" at Neftyanik Stadium in the 11th-round match of the First League. The meeting ended in a 2:2 draw.
The first half passed without goals; however, in the second half, the teams put on a real goal extravaganza. The score was opened in the 55th minute. "Volga" striker Luka Bagatelia hit Alexander Belenov's goal with a powerful strike into the top corner.
The hosts managed to turn the tide. In the 69th minute, Dylan Ortiz restored balance, and in the 77th, Georgi Gongadze put the Ufa team ahead with a beautiful free-kick — 2:1.
Victory seemed close, but "Volga" managed to save themselves at the very end. In the 86th minute, Alexander Saplinov delivered an accurate long-range strike to level the score — 2:2.
The Ufa team will play their next match on September 18 in Chelyabinsk, where they will meet FC "Chelyabinsk".
