"Salavat Yulaev" has set off for a tournament in Magnitogorsk. The Ufa team will compete in the Romazan Memorial.
The away roster for "Salavat Yulaev" remained unchanged, just as it was for the home tournament. Defenseman Ildan Gazimov, who is recovering from an injury, has joined the team.
This year, five Kontinental Hockey League clubs will participate in the tournament. The teams will play four round-robin matches each, with no additional final or third-place game. "Salavat Yulaev" will play against Chelyabinsk's "Traktor" today. On August 27, they face Tolyatti's "Lada", and on August 28, they play "Amur". On the final day, August 29, the Ufa team will cross sticks with the tournament hosts, the "Metallurg" hockey players.
