Ufa club alumnus Daniil Tarasov signs new NHL contract
Ufa hockey school alumnus Daniil Tarasov has signed a one-year contract with the Detroit Red Wings. Under the new agreement, he will earn $2 million per year.
Last season, Tarasov played 31 games for the Florida Panthers, averaging .895 saves.
Daniil Tarasov is a product of Salavat Yulaev. He has played for the main team since 2018. In 2019, Tarasov won a bronze medal with the Russian national team at the World Junior Ice Hockey Championship.
In 2021, Daniil Tarasov left Salavat Yulaev for the NHL. He played for Columbus in the NHL and for the team's AHL affiliate. Last season, he was traded from Columbus to Florida.
