Future of Salavat Yulaev captain Grigory Panin has become known
The team captain's contract has been extended for another year.
Defenseman Grigory Panin has signed a new one-year contract with Salavat Yulaev. The club's press service reported this.
40-year-old Panin has been playing for Salavat Yulaev since 2017. Last season, the defenseman played 67 matches in the KHL regular season, during which he scored 10 points (4+6). In 10 playoff games, he recorded one assist.
Grigory Panin is a silver medalist of the Russian Championship (2004/05), a silver medalist of the World Junior Championship (2005), a winner of the Continental Cup (2008), a winner of the Gagarin Cup (2008/09), a winner of the Gagarin Cup (2009/10), the best defenseman of the first round of the Gagarin Cup (2017/18), and a bronze medalist of the KHL Championship (2018/19, 2024/25).
