

Vice-president of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation, Roman Rotenberg, has chosen the best players of the past KHL season. In his opinion, Salavat Yulaev hockey player Alexander Zharovsky became the undisputed best rookie of the season.
"The best coach is Bob Hartley. The best rookie is definitely Alexander Zharovsky. The best defenseman is Nikita Lyamkin. The best goaltender is Daniil Isayev. The best forward is Alexander Radulov. The most valuable player (MVP) is also Alexander Radulov," Rotenberg said in a conversation with Match TV.
Let us recall that the product of Bashkortostan hockey, Alexander Zharovsky, was a nominee for the title of the best rookie of the past KHL season. The name of the winner will be announced at the season closing ceremony, which will take place in Moscow on May 28.
The 19-year-old forward scored 44 (16+28) points in 69 regular-season matches. He also recorded two assists in 10 playoff games.
