FC Ufa trainee becomes RPL champion
Defender Igor Diveev has become a champion of the Russian Premier League as part of Zenit St. Petersburg. This is the first trainee in the history of the FC Ufa school to become an RPL winner, the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Bashkortostan reports.
In the 30th round, Zenit achieved a narrow victory over Rostov in Rostov-on-Don (1:0) and became the 12-time champion of the country. Igor Diveev played 28 matches in the league last season, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
