International hockey tournament kicks off in Ufa
Ufa is hosting the strongest junior hockey teams from Russia these days. The "U17 Champions Cup" tournament, organized by the Russian Ice Hockey Federation, has international status.
As reported by the press service of HC Salavat Yulaev, 12 teams from Russia and Belarus are taking part in the tournament. They are divided into two groups. In the first match of the tournament, the tournament hosts, Salavat Yulaev, will meet Lokomotiv Yaroslavl.
In the group stage, Amur Khabarovsk, Dinamo-Juniors from Minsk, and D13 Yunost from Yekaterinburg will play against Ufa.
