In Ufa, open water tourist season has been launched

A total of 128 people on 47 vessels of various classes took to the course: kayaks, catamarans, rafts, floats, and SUP boards.

In the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the "Spring Rally" took place — a traditional event that marked the opening of the open-water tourist season for the 43rd time. This year, the water festival was dedicated to the Year of a Large and Close-knit Family.

The swim took place in the Ufa River. Participants started from the embankment in the Sipaylovo microdistrict and finished at the Monument of Friendship. A total of 128 people on 47 vessels of various classes took to the course: kayaks, catamarans, rafts, floats, and SUP boards.

Based on the competition's general classification, the best result was achieved by the team of the "Volna" youth club. The "silver" was won by the team of the "Dervish" club. The "Energosvyaz" team rounded out the top three leaders.

According to the press service of the Ufa mayor's office, despite the capricious spring weather, all participants showed a will to win, and the rally itself once again confirmed its status as one of the most vivid and massive events in the life of the city's water community.
