Bashkiria team became bronze medalist of 3x3 basketball superfinal of Privolzhsky Federal District
The Bashkiria team became a bronze medalist at the 3x3 basketball superfinal for secondary vocational education teams in the Volga Federal District, held in Nizhny Novgorod. In the 3rd-place match, the guys defeated the Udmurt Republic 17:7.
For the first time, the strongest school teams from small towns and rural settlements, as well as teams from professional educational organizations from all regions of the Volga Federal District (a total of 56 teams), gathered simultaneously in the capital of the Volga region.
28 boys' teams and 28 girls' teams in two categories: vocational education and schoolchildren, who became the winners of regional selections, fought for the title of the strongest amateur teams of the Volga region.
In the 2025-2026 season, 91.8 thousand schoolchildren and vocational students took part in the tournament's qualifying competitions; in 2025, there were 56 thousand participants.
The tournament is held on the initiative of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the Volga Federal District, Igor Komarov.
