Bashkir sambo wrestlers returned in triumph from World Cup
Ufa resident Alsou Nasyrova became the first Russian champion at international sambo competitions for the blind.
Sambo wrestlers from the Republic of Bashkortostan returned in triumph from the World Cup in blind sports. As reported by the regional ministry of sports, the tournament took place in Yerevan.
The republic's team has two gold and one bronze medal to its credit. Alsou Nasyrova and Artyom Merkulov became World Cup winners, while Vener Latypov won a bronze medal.
