According to the specialist, the Ufa hockey team is capable of winning at home. However, in the playoffs, much is decided by experience, which the team from Yekaterinburg possesses in full.
Russian hockey player and head coach in KHL clubs, Honored Master of Sports of Russia, Dmitry Ryabykin, assessed the first match between "Salavat Yulaev" and "Avtomobilist" in the Gagarin Cup playoffs.
"No surprise here. 'Salavat Yulaev' is a young team, without cup experience, lightweight. It went through the regular championship well, considering all the intra-club realities, and in some places jumped above its head. But the playoffs are a completely different tournament, where experience matters a lot. 'Salavat' can improve, especially at home. One cannot draw definitive conclusions from the first match, but over a long series, the playing maturity of 'Avtomobilist' may become the decisive factor," Dmitry Ryabykin said.
