Salavat Yulaev loses to Spartak in Ufa

Salavat Yulaev lost at home to Moscow's Spartak in what was a vivid and dramatic game.

In the first period, Salavat Yulaev forward Egor Suchkov scored the first goal, but Spartak player Vishnevsky soon leveled the score.

In the second period, Spartak pulled ahead by scoring two more goals. The third period began with another goal from the visitors. With 6 minutes remaining, Evgeny Kuznetsov scored the second goal for the home team with a precise shot. With 2 minutes left, Alexander Zharovsky, celebrating his birthday, added another goal.

Just before the end of the match, Spartak scored an empty-net goal against the Yulaevites. As a result, the final score was 5-3 in favor of the visitors.
