Semyon Vyazovoy became best goaltender of month in KHL for first time in his career
The commission, tasked with determining the best hockey players of the Fonbet Championship of the Kontinental Hockey League, based on statistical data from the KHL Central Information Bureau and an analytical evaluation of matches, named the January award winners in four categories. The results were published on the KHL website.
A total of 120 games were played in January, with 610 hockey players participating (51 goaltenders, 198 defensemen, and 361 forwards). The average scoring rate was 5.22 goals per game.
