Thirteen Russians will participate in Olympic Games in Italy

The Russian National Team Training Center has published the final list.

The list of Russian athletes officially invited by the International Olympic Committee to the 2026 Games in Italy includes 13 individuals. Adelia Petrosyan and Petr Gumennik will represent our country in figure skating; Alena Krylova and Ivan Posashkov in short track; Daria Nepryaeva and Saveliy Korostelev in cross-country skiing; and Ksenia Korzhova and Anastasia Semenova in speed skating. Nikita Filippov will represent Russia in ski mountaineering; Daria Olesik and Pavel Repilov in luge; and Semyon Efimov and Yulia Pleshkova in alpine skiing.

The Olympic Games will be held in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo from February 6 to 22. Russia will compete as a neutral country. A total of 2,900 athletes from 90 National Olympic Committees have entered the 2026 Winter Olympics. Participants will compete for medals in 16 sports. For the first time in history, the Games program is officially divided between two cities and adjacent territories.
