Viktor Kozlov assesses hard-fought win over Dynamo

The Ufa head coach explained why Zharovsky missed the game against Minsk.

Salavat Yulaev head coach Viktor Kozlov commented on his team's away victory over Dynamo Minsk (2–1 OT). According to him, the team secured the win thanks to strong penalty killing.

"It was an important win for us. It’s always tough to play in Minsk, especially now, as Dynamo is leading the conference and playing very well. Penalty killing was the key factor in today's game. When your special teams are working well, your chances of winning increase," Kozlov said.

Regarding the lineup, Kozlov noted that Alexander Zharovsky missed the game due to a minor injury, and the team's leading scorer's participation in the next match against Ak Bars remains uncertain. Forward Artyom Pimenov also picked up an injury.
