Ufa fencer wins bronze at Junior World Cup

Ufa fencer Taisiya Larkina won a bronze medal at the Junior World Cup. She competed as part of the national team, and Bashkortostan Deputy Prime Minister and Sports Minister Ruslan Khabibov shared on social media.

The competition is taking place in Manama, the capital of Bahrain. Russian athletes took third place in the team competition, defeating the Singapore team 35-30.

Taisiya is a graduate of the Ufa Olympic Reserve Sports School for Fencing. Previously, the Bashkir athlete won gold in junior epee fencing at the CIS Games.
