Hockey player Sheldon Rempal has returned to Ufa. Salavat Yulaev head coach Viktor Kozlov announced this at a post-match press conference.
"He has just arrived, but Sheldon hasn’t skated for two weeks. Tomorrow I will talk to him and decide whether he will be able to play in the match against Dynamo Minsk the day after tomorrow," Kozlov said.
Summing up the game against Severstal, the Ufa team’s head coach noted the strong performances of forward Yegor Suchkov and goaltender Semyon Vyazovoy.
"I knew we wouldn’t be able to outrun the team from Cherepovets, so we focused on solid defense and counterattacks. The atmosphere today was crazy, as always — the support was fantastic, and I want to say a huge thank you for it," the head coach added.
