Ufa fencer Egor Barannikov wins 2025 Russian Cup

The men's individual foil competition at the Russian Fencing Cup has concluded in Smolensk. The main trophy, the first of his sporting career, was claimed by Ufa native Egor Barannikov, the Russian Fencing Federation reported.

Another Bashkortostan athlete, Valery Kornilov, won the silver medal. Third place was shared by Zakhar Kozlov from St. Petersburg and Grigory Semenyuk from the Moscow Region.
