Bashkortostan wrestlers win two gold medals at world championship

Athletes from Bashkortostan won a total of 12 medals at the World Belt Wrestling Championships held in Kazan.

According to the Bashkortostan Ministry of Sports, 186 athletes from 25 countries competed for medals, including 16 athletes representing the republic.

Gold medalists in their respective weight categories were Dina Tuygildina and Alesya Shcherbinina. Anastasia Belash, Dilara Samigullina, Darya Shchetinina, and Islam Gimadeev won silver medals. Milena Ardashirova, Renata Shaimukhametova, Evelina Yumagulova, Indir Khamidullin, Aigiz Psyanchin, and Artyom Khusnutdinov claimed bronze medals.
