Alpine skier Daniil Zainetdinov from Ufa became the winner of the first Winter CIS Spartakiad for children with disabilities. He took first place in the giant slalom among athletes with hearing impairments.
According to the Bashkortostan Ministry of Sports, Bashkortostan para-athletes have so far won four medals at the Winter CIS Spartakiad. In cross-country skiing, Andrey Kazakov won a silver medal (coached by Vladimir Kazakov). Elizaveta Shtyrlyaeva claimed a bronze medal (coach Andrey Mikhailov). Nikita Rinkman won another bronze medal in alpine skiing.
