Over 6,000 people attended Russian Women's Boxing Championship in Ufa

The Russian Women's Boxing Championship in Ufa attracted over 6,000 spectators. This was announced at the final meeting chaired by Bashkortostan Prime Minister Andrei Nazarov.

As the Prime Minister noted, the Republic has accumulated significant experience in hosting major sporting events in recent years. The modern Wrestling Palace in Ufa allowed the championship to reach a new level compared to the 2023 event. This provided excellent training conditions for the athletes and comfortable viewing for spectators watching the exciting fights, Nazarov emphasized.

The final bouts alone attracted over 2,000 fans. Overall, over 6,000 spectators attended the Russian Women's Boxing Championship.

The Russian Women's Boxing Championship was held at the Ufa Wrestling Palace from November 29 to December 5. A total of 163 female boxers from 48 regions competed for the title of the country's strongest. Our area was represented with distinction by eight athletes. Following the final matches, the names of 12 winners were announced, including Azalia Amineva and Yulia Chumgalakova, representing Bashkortostan.
