Famous Russian TV presenter, journalist, and sports commentator Dmitry Guberniev urged Bashkortostan to maintain its momentum toward sporting victories and achievements.

"As an Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Bashkortostan, I want to say: Alga, Bashkortostan. You know, when I come to Ufa and, for example, walk along the Belaya Embankment with my favorite baji pump poles on the tartan path, I see magnificent views. And I realize I don't want to leave the republic's capital. I was fortunate to open many sports facilities with the Head of the Republic; we hosted the Russia – a Sports Power forum. "We are seeing the development of sports in the region, and these events are not just for show, but truly for every resident of this large, multi-ethnic republic. This is important. There are wonderful supporters in the region, locally, who support skiing and track and field. But this would not have been possible without the Head of the Republic's passion for sport. Therefore, I also heartily congratulate Radiy Faritovich. This is his victory, this is our victory. And, ultimately, as a Bashkir, I am very pleased. And I want to say, keep up the good work, Bashkortostan, keep up the good work! Today's victory is both recognition of our achievements and an advance on the much more we still have to accomplish together," said Dmitry Guberniev.
