Alexander Karelin congratulated Bashkortostan on its remarkable victory in sports

Russian Federation Senator, Hero of Russia, three-time Olympic champion, and legendary wrestler Alexander Karelin noted that Bashkortostan has once again confirmed its reputation as Russia's best sports region.

"Considering the distinctive qualities of the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, I am particularly pleased that Bashkortostan, with its remarkable traditions and significant investment in projects, exemplifies how sports should be approached in general and the opportunities that should be provided. Of course, I am particularly pleased that, in addition to having a wrestler as its Head, there is also the wonderful Wrestling Palace, which, in my opinion, is a shining example of how to create modern sports facilities. Therefore, I congratulate every resident and every athlete of the republic, especially the regional leadership. We had the wonderful opportunity to host the "Choice of the Strong" party project conference during the Republic Day celebrations. "The proper upbringing of the younger generation and the right approach have earned us the well-deserved Republic of Bashkortostan trophy. Congratulations," said Alexander Karelin.
