Weightlifters from Bashkortostan win All-Russian competition

The team from Bashkortostan's Alsheevsky District won a complete set of medals at the All-Russian "Silver Vulture" weightlifting competition. Nail Abelguzin, head of the Tula municipal administration, announced the young athletes' victory.

Weightlifter Amir Khabutdinov won gold in the 81 kg weight class. His teammate Ivan Klyushkin won silver in the 61 kg weight class. Yegor Serik won bronze in the 49 kg weight class. Their coach, Rifat Miniyarov, coached them to victory.

Eight hundred weightlifters from across Russia participated in the competition, dedicated to the memory of Honored Master of Sports Boris Seregin.
