As announced by Ruslan Khabibov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Bashkortostan and Minister of Sports, Bashkortostan has been nominated for the National Sports Award in the category "Russian Region (for Contribution to Sports Development): Best Subject of the Russian Federation." The Adaptive Sports Center of the Republic of Bashkortostan is nominated in the category "Hope of Russia: Best Adaptive Sports Organization." The Ufa Olympic Reserve Fencing School is competing for the title of best sports school in the country.
The results of the National Sports Award will be announced on November 27.
It is worth noting that Bashkortostan participates in this event annually. In 2019, the republic was named the best region in Russia for sports development. In 2024, Bashkortostan was also ranked among the top three best sports regions in Russia, and Semyon Elistratov was ranked among the top three athletes in the country. The National Sports Award is the most prestigious in the field of physical education and sports. It was established by the Russian government in 2010.
