Vener Latypov from Bashkortostan won bronze at World Championships

Vener Latypov, a sambo wrestler from Bashkortostan, won bronze at the World Blind Sambo Championships. The republic's adaptive sports center announced his victory.

The sambo tournament is underway in Bishkek. The competition features top athletes in sports, combat sambo, and sambo for the blind.

Vener, originally from the Uchaly district, has been training in sambo for over five years under coaches Artem Merkulov and Valentin Pegov.
