Alsu Minazova from Ufa Wins Silver at World Championships in Australia
The canoeist from Ufa competed in Sydney and placed among the top three at the international tournament.
For the first time since 2021, during the break in international competitions, Bashkortostan has won a top-level award. According to Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic and Minister of Sports Ruslan Khabibov, Alsu Minazova won a silver medal in the Olympic discipline. The athlete finished second in the single canoe event at the World Championships held in Sydney, Australia.
First place went to Klaudia Zwolinska from Poland, while Ana Sátila from Brazil took third.
