Wrestler from Bashkortostan won All-Russian Greco-Roman wrestling tournament.
Ilya Kandalin, a wrestler from Oktyabrsky, won the 12th All-Russian Junior Greco-Roman Wrestling Competition. This was announced by the city's mayor, Alexey Palchinsky.
The Memorial Tournament for Honored Coach of the RSFSR Myagas Sakhabutdinov was held in Kazan. Ilya Kandalin, from the Oktyabrsky Wrestling School, demonstrated a high level of training and skill. In the final, he showed a brilliant and competent performance, winning the gold medal in the 60 kg weight class.
