Head of Republic of Bashkortostan announced start of construction of an athletics arena

At an operational government meeting in the TsUR, the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, summed up the results of his meeting with the Minister of Sports of Russia, Mikhail Degtyarev. He emphasized the importance of the upcoming task — the construction of an athletics arena with an Olympic reserve school in Ufa.
"We are expecting major international competitions. In 2025–2028, the Spartakiad of the strongest will take place in the republic. We have to build an athletics arena with an Olympic reserve school. We have been talking about this facility for a long time. Now there is a chance to resolve it," noted the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
