

The World Championship among children and juniors in archery was held in the city of Aktau from August 19 to 20, 2025. Athletes from Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan took part in the competition.
Russia was represented at the tournament by students of the Federation of Horseback Riding and Traditional Archery of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The youth team of our republic took an honorable second place in the international arena, reports the head of the Aurgazinsky district, Arslan Shagaretdinov.
Batyrkhan Gaysin won a bronze medal among boys aged 13-15. Guzel Burangulova from the Bizhbulyaksky district took second place among girls aged 16-17, despite a fierce struggle and two additional "shootouts".
"Young archers are trained under the guidance of Faim Gaisin and Rais Nizametdinov. Congratulations on the well-deserved award! This achievement is the result of hard work, professionalism, dedication, and mutual support of the coach, parents, and the athletes themselves," said Arslan Shagaretdinov.
