"The Salavat Yulaev hockey club has submitted documents to the electronic database of the KHL Central Information Bureau to cancel the contract with forward Joshua Livo. Due to the need for additional clarification of the circumstances, including on the part of the hockey player, the league has not changed the player's contractual status in the KHL," the league said.
Last season, Joshua Livo was recognized as the best player in the KHL. The legionnaire played in 76 matches for the Ufa club, scoring 95 (51+44) points. Livo also topped the scoring charts and set a KHL record.
