Bashkiria fencers win medals at Russian Youth Spartakiad
The 6th Summer Russian Youth Spartakiad has ended in Ufa.
In the team competition, the foil fencers' team from our region won the gold medal. The team included Iskander Bulatov, Valery Kornilov, Amir Fakhretdinov, and Davlat Khairutdinov. The republic's Ministry of Sports reported the victory of the Bashkir fencers.
In the individual competition, Lyubov Yemeleva came in second in the foil fencers' tournament. Valery Kornilov and Taisiya Larkina won bronze medals.
