Canadian forward Sheldon Rempal has left Ufa’s Salavat Yulaev hockey club, according to the team’s press service.
Rempal, 28, joined Salavat Yulaev in the summer of 2024. As previously reported by Bashinform, he aimed to maintain his playing style with the new team. The imported player did not miss a single regular-season game (68 total) and finished fourth among the league’s top scorers with 61 points (31 goals and 30 assists).
In the playoffs, Sheldon Rempal recorded 21 points (8 goals and 13 assists), becoming the top scorer of the Gagarin Cup. His hat trick helped Salavat Yulaev defeat Sibir in Game 5 of the first round of the playoffs in Ufa.
