

Elena Prokofyeva, a tennis player from Bashkiria and Paralympic champion, won a silver medal at the international table tennis competition in China, the Center for Adaptive Sports of Bashkortostan reported.
The "ITTF World Para Future Taipei 2025" international table tennis tournament took place in Taipei, China. Elena Prokofyeva took second place, losing in the final to Japanese athlete Natsuki Wada. The match ended in a 3-2 score, following a tense battle, with Prokofyeva losing by only one point.
In the women's doubles, Elena Prokofyeva teamed up with Maria Galkina from Kurgan Region and won the gold medal.
Earlier, Bashinform reported that Adelina Zagidullina won gold at the "Saint Petersburg Rapira" competition.
