NHL clubs select young players from Salavat Yulaev
The 2025 National Hockey League Entry Draft took place.
NHL clubs have selected Salavat Yulaev alums at the 2025 Entry Draft. The club's press service reported this.
In the second round, the Montreal Canadiens selected forward Alexander Zharovsky with the 34th pick. The Seattle Kraken claimed the rights to defenseman Maxim Agafonov with the 134th pick. Goalie Ivan Tkach-Tkachenko was selected with the 142nd pick by the Utah Mammoth.
During the NHL Entry Draft, the rights to young hockey players who meet specific criteria are transferred to professional clubs in the league. The event is held annually, following the conclusion of the playing season. The Entry Draft consists of seven rounds.
