Bashkiria checkers players won World Cup 2nd stage
Bashkiria checkers players Aigul Idrisova and Alexander Georgiev won the 2nd stage of the World Cup in 100-cell checkers. The victory of the Bashkir athletes was reported in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic.
The second stage of the checkers competition for the prizes of the honorary president of the World Checkers Federation, Vladimir Ptitsyn, has ended in the city of Yakutsk. The competition brought together 111 checkers players from eight countries: Brazil, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Armenia, and Russia. Bashkir checkers players Ainur Shaibakov (2nd place) and Aliya Aminova (3rd place) also won prizes.
