Ernest Sharafutdinov from Ufa won European karate championship
A Ufa athlete, Ernest Sharafutdinov, won the title of European champion in karate in the 75 kg weight category. Gazizyan Akhmedyanov, head of the administration of the Kalininsky district of Ufa, announced the victory of the Ufa native.
In April of this year, Ernest Sharafutdinov was included in the application for the European Championship in Yerevan. At the tournament, he showed himself brilliantly and won the gold medal.
“Ernest is a graduate of the Olympic Reserve Sports School No. 12 of the Kalininsky district of Ufa, a Russian karateka. He is a multiple prize winner of the World Championship, European and Russian champion, and winner of all-Russian and international tournaments. His status as an Honored Master of Sports of Russia speaks of a high level of training and dedication to his work,” Gazizyan Akhmedyanov wrote on his social media.
