Acrobats from Bashkiria win gold at International Competition

The press service of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan reports that acrobats from Bashkiria have won gold medals at an international competition for the Cup of Honored Coach of the USSR Vladimir Gurgenidze, held in the city of Odintsovo in the Moscow Region.

The sports acrobatics tournament brought together over 400 athletes from seven countries. Students of the Alexander Dergunov Sports Acrobatics Federation from the city of Oktyabrsky represented our republic.

Dina Nizaeva and Tikhon Brezgin took the gold medal in mixed pairs, while Varvara Filippova and Arseny Efremov earned bronze. In women's trios, the first place went to Margarita Sadovnikova, Anastasia Ivanova, and Kamilla Kirillova.

The athletes train under the guidance of Olesya Mullagalieva, Feruza Valeeva, Sabina Valiullina, Valery Menzorov, and Vladislav Kupriyanov.

Earlier, a swimmer from Bashkiria won gold at a national competition.
