

Ufa resident Adelina Bikbulatova became the Russian fencing champion. In the final match, our countrywoman defeated her opponent, Polina Kozaeva from Kursk. The game ended with a score of 15:3. Vitalina Anashchenkova and Marta Martyanova won bronze.
Recall that the Russian fencing championship, for both men and women, was held in Ufa for the first time. It was attended by 654 athletes from 32 regions of Russia. 68 athletes represented Bashkiria. Representatives from the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Kyrgyz Republic also took part in the competition.
