Bashkiria allocates 10 billion rubles to support 141 sports. Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov announced the amount on his Telegram channel. He noted that the region is working in several areas simultaneously.

The development of mass sports is considered one of the main tasks. More than 2.3 million residents of the republic are engaged in physical education. The projects "Rural Trainer" and "City Trainer" are working in the republic, this year alone 30 people became participants.

Another critical issue is the construction of sports facilities. In this indicator, Bashkiria is among the country's leaders. Let us recall that last year, three large structures were commissioned at once: a fencing center, a complex of facilities for canoe slalom, and a Wrestling Palace.

They plan to commission five more sports facilities this year. Currently, they are designing an athletics arena, an Olympic reserve school, a Boxing Progress Center, and a Tennis Academy. Construction will begin next year.

The Russian national teams include 429 Bashkir athletes who have won over 3,500 medals. 552 athletes and their coaches receive financial support to achieve high sports results, and 207 young athletes receive special scholarships.

Ufa's Salavat Yulaev continues to compete for the Gagarin Cup, the Agidel women's hockey team is playing in the final of the Russian championship, and the Dynamo-Ural volleyball club had a successful season.
