Alpine skier Tanzila Israilova from Beloretsk won a gold medal at the international competition "Bolshoi Vudyavr Cup." The Bashkir athlete was congratulated on her victory by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic—Minister of Sports Ruslan Khabibov on his Telegram channel.
The international competitions were held in Kirovsk, Altai Krai. In addition to Russian athletes, skiers from Armenia, Belarus, and Serbia participated in the tournament. Tanzila Israilova became the best in the giant slalom with 1.32.81 seconds.
In February, Tanzila Israilova became Russia's champion in alpine skiing. The Minister of Sports of the Republic noted that this is a historic achievement—Bashkiria's first gold medal in this discipline for the first time in 15 years.
