Elizaveta Kaplina won silver at Russian Biathlon Championship
Bashkiria athlete Elizaveta Kaplina came in second at the Russian Biathlon Championship, according to Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Bashkiria—Minister of Sports Ruslan Khabibov.
"Elizaveta Kaplina is the silver medalist of the women's sprint race of the Russian Championship in Khanty-Mansiysk! Well done!" — he wrote on his social networks.
A total of 69 biathletes were registered for the women's sprint, including ten Belarusians.
Pursuit races will also be held in Khanty-Mansiysk as part of the Russian Championship.
