Salavat Yulaev play with Sibir in playoff
Ufa's Salavat Yulaev will play with Sibir in the first round of the playoffs. This became known in these minutes after Vladivostok's Admiral's crushing defeat to Neftekhimik with a score of 7:2.
Salavat Yulaev finished the KHL regular season in second place in the Eastern Conference, while the Novosibirsk team finished seventh.
The teams have met four times this season. The Ufa team has won three matches. The first game was away, and it ended in a shootout. The Yulaev team won, and the final score was 3:2. In December, the Greens also proved stronger at the Ufa Arena stadium—3:1. In January, Salavat Yulaev unexpectedly lost away with a score of 1:4. The last game took place this week and ended with a victory for Ufa—3:1.
The teams met twice in the playoffs, and Salavat Yulaev was stronger both times.
The Ufa team will start the first round of the playoffs at home, and the matches will be held on March 27 and 29.
