Viktor Kozlov spoke about main strength of Salavat Yulaev

Salavat Yulaev's head coach, Viktor Kozlov, believes the fans' support was the main factor in the Ufa hockey team's home-winning streak.

"The support of the fans is the most important thing. How the city lives for hockey, how much they love hockey here and the atmosphere in the arena is amazing," the coach of the Ufa team noted.

Salavat Yulaev completed the series of home games of the regular championship with a victory over Dynamo Minsk. Viktor Kozlov told how the game went at the post-match press conference. According to the head coach of the Ufa hockey club, Salavat Yulaev had to face an organized team with qualified hockey players.

"A good match, good speed. We played against an organized team with qualified hockey players. We took the lead, and then the opponent came back and took the lead, but I liked that the team did not give up, caught on themselves, and fought to the end. Denis Yan fought and got the team going again. The guys wanted to please the fans," said Viktor Kozlov.

"We played against a good team that made us make mistakes. There will always be mistakes, we would like a perfect game, but matches are different. There comes a time when character and team spirit come first," says Viktor Kozlov.
