Rafael Galimov from Ufa won Russia taekwondo championship
Rafael Galimov from Ufa became the champion of Russia in WTF taekwondo. The Ministry of Sports of the Republic reported the victory of the young taekwondo athlete.
Rafael won the gold medal in the weight category up to 53 kg. He trains under the guidance of Iskander Rakhmatov in the Ufa taekwondo club "Iskra".
Another award of the competition - a bronze medal- was received by Artem Zvyagintsev in the weight category of up to 45 kg (coach - Alexander Kozmin).
The Russian championship in WTF taekwondo was held in Lyubertsy, near Moscow. 788 athletes from 60 regions of the country participated in the tournament.
