Oleg Matytsin spoke about key role of Bashkiria in sports development in Russia
The Ministry of Sports of Bashkiria's board is holding an extended meeting in Ufa. The participants are discussing the development of the sports industry in the region. Based on the board's results, priority tasks for 2025 will be determined.
Oleg Matytsin, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Physical Culture and Sports, addressed the board meeting participants. He discussed Bashkiria's key role in Russian sports development.
“Bashkortostan, as one of the leading sports regions of Russia, has built a systematic work to increase people's physical activity, form their sustainable motivation for physical education and sports, and promote Olympic ideals and values. The republic is among the country's leaders regarding the number of operating sports facilities. One of the key projects of the republic was the “Rural Trainer” program. Based on the experience of Bashkortostan, today in Russia, the “Zemsky Trainer” project is being developed to create the necessary conditions for sports. I am convinced that Bashkortostan will always be a reliable partner for implementing state tasks in physical culture and sports,” Oleg Matytsin noted.
